Let me take this moment to thank God Almighty on this special occasion. We Welcome again and thank His Grace, our Most Rev. Dr. Alfred Adewale Martins, the Archbishop of Lagos State. We welcome and appreciate our Dean of Iba Deanery, Most Rev. Simon Iwu, The other Very Rev. Fr. present , all the Priests and Religious present. We appreciate our Priest in charge, Rev Fr Chinedu Vincent Udoye Edu Jesu, AGWANMAMARIA 2 for his selfless service as he serves and encourages us in Making Madonna Parish-what God wants us to be! Thanks to All the lay faithful, we thank you for your present and unflinching support!
His Grace ,We have no doubt in our minds that His Grace at Madonna Parish this second time, within the period of 5 years ,despite his busy schedule is a personal awesome love. His Grace, The church is growing; the organizations, societies and all other arms are also deeply committed to our mission statement.
His Grace, you have indeed helped us to make this goal a reality. You have removed the nut of fears and stagnation from our Dear Madonna, through the support of the Loan you granted us. In other words, your very support and granting of breakthrough loan had enabled us to roofs the Church. Without this Your Back-Up, where could we have be? This helped in the Roofing and opened room for the anonymous donors for the marble at the altar: which attracted the donor for the plastering of the Church and that of the windows and the rest- if not your Spiritual and Loan support other progress wouldn’t have been possible.

Hence, We remind you of the letter of appeal on Parish Grade , we wrote to you on October 7th, 2024; vis-a-vis the amount to pay and now with many plenty works in the Church undone; the floor tiles, the pews, etc, most specially the 80kva to 100kva diesel generator that required an urgent attention due to the inconvenience of heats during mass, though simultaneously we are repaying the loan, and the graded amount -however on a snail movement- and we seek your indulgence to bear with us!
His Grace, We pray you look inward and continue to help us ,not like Oliver Twist but Please continue to help us because we covet growth, even more quickly. May thy good Lord continue to strengthen you Baba!. We thank you again and wish you a safe return to your Holy Cross- The Cathedral.
